The difference of Teacher Marine and American Sniper is that American Sniper is a true story of Chris Kyle played well by Bradley Cooper. Other then that Chris Kyle could well have been transported to Thailand. Only the intensity of the conflict is the difference. Teacher Marine points out the fact that this terrorism is global and unfortunately innocents on all sides Muslim, Buddhist, secular or Western are its victims.

To summarize: after killing many terrorist, and saving his son and lover (Heather), the film ends with James coming in late to a teachers meeting at his school to applause by teachers who in the beginning did not appreciate all he had done for the sake of a security problem they never believed existed in the first place. He opens a present and thanks them for the bottle of champagne. They leave James and Heather alone to finish the film, arms around each other, kissing, as the Champagne cork blows off the bottle. He asks her if she would consider marrying him to which she answers I don't even know you, but ends with, "what do you think?"

In conclusion, killing whether real - American Sniper or fictional - The Teacher Marine hold our collective fascination and heroes come forth from the chaos. Now if all those guns and bombs and bullets could be melted into … anything else, but I digress …Namaste'.
