CloudFIT is a fully-integrated social media platform that connects users with personal trainers, gyms and other fitness fans in their areas. Now, CloudFIT is launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to develop and push this app for the benefit of fitness enthusiasts everywhere.

Tacoma, WA -- (SBWire) -- 02/19/2015 --CloudFIT has created a new social network app for fitness and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for development.  Located at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/904670533/cloudfit-the-fitness-community, this campaign will help developers raise the money needed to finalize work on the first release of this app and push it out to both Android and Apple platforms.

CloudFIT will include a combination of web applications and mobile apps to be introduced in three phases:  Phase 1, "MyFIT," which is a social media platform for fitness enthusiasts; "OrgFIT ," which will integrate gyms into the social network; and "TrainerFIT ," which will integrate personal trainers into the network.  The current Kickstarter campaign is designed to fund Phase 1 of the project.  If the funds collected exceed those needed to start Phase 1, the remaining funds will be used to fund Phase 2, in which gyms will be integrated into the platform.

In Phase 1, users will be able to create a MyFit page on which they can build workout checklists; features goals, schedules, meal plans and even music choices; keep track of progress through charts and dashboards; share progress with others; post photos and receive comments from members of the community; message friends; and access a news feed for local community fitness events.

Unlike many other apps, CloudFit will offer access to personal trainers, lessons and videos, customized meal plans and personal tracking and management of workout information.
