Recent Survey Shows Business Conditions for Landscape Contractors Will Hold Steady at 2015

Roughly 60% of contractors said maintenance sales grew past year and 63% expect sales to grow more in 2015

Abilene, TX -- (SBWire) -- 02/25/2015 --It took some time, but the Abilene Landscaping industry is back again. After a couple tough years, followed closely by many more hammering their way to avoid it of the pit, this industry has now become larger—and perhaps healthier than ever.

Based on Research Company IBISWorld, the "landscape service" industry, when it is all said and accomplished, may have racked up approximately $73 billion in profits this year (2015). This represents the very first year that income surpassed the previous peak of approximately $69.5 billion in 2007, before the Great Recessionwhen the landscaping business took the 13% nose-dive.

The $4 billion and 6% income leap this season alone is a large reason why more Dallas Landscape companies and equipment sellers are walking with a bit more swagger. A growing number of contractorshave improvedsalesprevious year and anticipate to increase them further this year. Similarly, many equipment sellers increased sales across-the-board this season in both parts, equipment and service. Approximately half will anticipate further development in 2015.

Many financial drivers that impact landscaping expenditure and lawn-care are now actually lining up positively.

They contain:

- Enhancing housing industry
- Enhancing industrial construction marketplace
- Escalation in commercial home occupancy prices
- Powerful stock exchange
- Increasing consumer disposable earnings
- Aging populace and tendencies toward home support outsourcing

Based on a recently available study of Landscape Industry Professionals, the entire perspective is much more advantageous, although slightly this year. Approximately 63 percent of contractors anticipate upkeep profits to grow, 56 percent anticipate installment profits to grow, 51 percent anticipate lawn-care profits to grow, and 33 percent anticipate irrigationprofits to grow. Only 5 percent or so anticipate to see a sales decrease next year.

One exclusion is within the support division. Approximately 42% of sellers intend to improve support team this year.As the number of maintenance dealerships diminishes, and contractorcallforequipment support grows, the rest of the dealers should concentrate on making highly-efficient, well-crafted support procedures. Landscape contractors, many of whom are expanding and looking to develop much more within the next few years—will undoubtedly be counting on sellers who are able to do that.
