Hip Hop artist Polar Bear hits the airwaves with new single She's A Killa

Announcing the official release of his TWO latest projects, and soon-to-be HIT singles "She A Killa" and "FU-FU", Polar Bear has proven he is a man of many talents and many more successes.

With a resume in the Entertainment Industry that reads like a list of the Who's Who in hip hop, Polar Bear continues to grind and build his empire. An urban realist street hustler with an entrepreneur zeal that is taking the hip hop music industry by eclectic storm with every hit he makes. His fan base continues to grow daily and Polar Bear already has garnered several thousand followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and has over a half a million hits on his YouTube Channel

Born Charles Lawrence Jr. in Atlanta, GA and raised in Chicago, Polar Bear learned firsthand what it took to become successful as a business owner and recording artist. Polar Bear's fascination with words intertwined together in rhyme gave him the outlet to express himself lyrically. Charles began his career in the music industry when a mutual friend approached him to become an investor in a group of aspiring brothers. After financing the group's promotional and musical needs, Charles made the decision to purchase his own recording studio. C&C Recording Studio was the first of its kind located near the prestigious South Shore Community in Chicago and was graced by the likes of artists Shawna, Raekwon, and Grammy Award winning recording artist, Common.

Polar Bear established his own record label Flight Risk Entertainment, formerly Filthy Rich Records and began managing other artists. In that role, Polar Bear began writing for his artists as a ghost writer and began to discover his own passion for writing. Flight Risk Entertainment was building a roster of epic proportion and collaborated with Hip Hop Legends such as Erick Sermon, Pimp C, Kool G Rap, and LA The Darkman. Flight Risk Entertainment was featured in, The Source Magazine and the record label was advertised in both XXL, and Vibe, magazines.

Polar Bear made the destined decision to switch gears and focus on his own solo rap career and he spent many years in the recording studio writing and recording for himself. Spending time in recording studios in Los Angeles and New York, he released his first mixtape Customer Service in 2009. In 2011 a Polar Bear released a follow up mix tape STR8 Drop, which featured Wu-tang Clan's Raekwon, on the track "Man Down" and was produced by Six July. Polar Bear's tracks have been featured in radio mix shows on Chicago top radio stations including WPWX 92.3, DJ Pharris Thomas Mix Show and Mustafa Rocks Mix Show. Also tracks were featured on WGCI 107.5's Timbuck 2 Mix Show. In 2014, Polar Bear signed a distribution deal with MVD Distribution for his album, The Verdict, which is now available online and in Kmart, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart. The album features popular singles, "Secrets Go To The Grave" and "Windy City Chicago-N".

The first of Polar Bears latest releases, "She A Killa", features collaboration with producer Ball Masson, CEO of Monotize Productions. Ball Masson has worked with various A-Lists artists including his 2008 collaboration on the hit single "Looking Boy" featuring Yung Joc under the RCA Record Label. For "Fu-Fu", Polar Bear teamed up with local Chicago Hip Hop Artist King Louie.
