Travel Company Launches IndieGoGo Campaign to Expand Adventures Internationally

Toronto, ON -- (SBWire) -- 04/14/2015 --Surf the Greats is an adventure travel company created by three friends – Antonio Lennert, Marcello Gortana, and Symon Oliver. This lifestyle brand was built on their shared passion for adventure, exploration, and love for nature. It is currently the first company in Toronto to offer organized surf adventures locally in the Great Lakes. Now Surf the Greats wants to expand internationally and has turned to the IndieGoGo community to make this possible. The campaign goal is to raise $35,000 CAD by May 21st, 2015.

For the past year, the company has done a great job at building a community with other surfers to join together at the Great Lakes to experience epic swells like no other. They are also proud sponsors of various surf events, surfers, and beach clean ups. The travel company is the first Canadian based instructors to be certified by the International Surfing Association. Now it is time to explore other great surfing spots around the world. This new concept will give others a chance to surf the greatest waves around the world. For the explorers that join them on these trips, the adventure is planned from a surfer's perspective, regardless of the individual's previous surfing experience.

Each adventure will push travelers out of their comfort zone to truly experience the exhilaration that comes from surfing. The options will be affordable and done in an economical way by bringing travellers to local businesses in the area. This will bring business to these small shops, while exposing the adventurer to different cultures and experiences around the globe. Surf the Greats hopes to disconnect people from daily stresses and technology to bring them to reconnect with nature and life.
