The After Effects CC has a new app companion, and that's the Character Animator. Since animation is a huge booming business today for its ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts more effectively and easy; users will be able to take this experience even further as this app will play off the users every movement through a webcam to the designed 2D character on screen. All it needs is to design a 2D character in Photoshop or Illustrator, set up the rigging controls and use the webcam and keyboard to animate the character created. And whatever movement or facial expression the user will show in the webcam, the 2D character will imitate it.

Lumetri Color Panel

This added feature is now combined with the 32-bit floating-point color technology of SpeedGrade with Lightroom-style that will give users great ease in embedding color more deeply in the video editing process. It provides the latest three-way color corrector to make shadows, midtones and highlight of the video be creative. Integrated tools are offered that can be used in tweaking the color and light throughout the editing process and users do not have to leave the Premiere Pro.

Project Candy for Hybrid Devices

iPhone users can now enhance footage with this app that is derived from the previous Kuler, which can be used in synthesizing the color schemes from the scenes being shot. Aside from the light and color it can capture and refine, it can also create unique looks that can be used either as a reference or in enhancing actual footage done in Adobe Premiere Clip, AfterEffects, and Premiere Pro.

Creative Cloud Libraries

The new CC libraries will allow users to gain access, storage and sharing among the tools, services and teams used in the Creative Cloud. This is made available in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop which allows the sharing of materials with colleagues either on site or through the company's post production workflow platform which is the Adobe Anywhere.

Aside from these major upgrades, users can also use the Morph Cut in Premiere Pro in smoothening out the edits on talking-head footages. Automatic adjustments for the duration of the completed projects can now be done automatically with the Time Tuner. Previously done shots can now be reviewed while users are still working with them as new preview enhancements were made in the After Effects. And animated masks can now be precisely applied using the new Face Tracker.
