18-year old Seonaid McIntosh won silver in the air rifle - the first junior medal in 35 years for shooting. Her use of an air rifle was also the case in the Commonwealth Games, where she had been a representative for Scotland.

McIntosh was thoroughly pleased with her performance – which in itself indicated that there is much promise and engagement in terms of the growth of pistol shooting as a productive sport.
