Harrogate, England -- (SBWire) -- 05/19/2015 --Sewing and crafting are seen as forces for good, especially in light of the recent announcement that a finalist of the BBC programme the Great British Sewing Bee, is helping Salisbury Hospital Spinal Centre's Horatio's Garden to prepare for its annual food and plant fair. Neil Stace, who was a key contender in the popular BBC show, is using his sewing abilities to prepare decorations for the money-raising venture.

After visiting Horatio's Garden – a recreational space for patients at the hospital – Stace decided to use his crafting creativity as a force for good. On his visit, he helped both patients and volunteers create colourful wheat bags; a rewarding, constructive as well as relaxing experience. With this team of volunteers and patients, Neil is hoping to create a variety of sewn and stitched creations to sell at the fair on 14th June.
