Chase Leland Curtis’ upcoming venture Icons will allow users to create their icon, share it with friends, and enjoy the results. The funding requirement for successful completion of this project is $52,000.

This initiative by Chase Leland Curtis has been influenced heavily by the extraordinary success of Million Dollar Homepage by Alex Tew in 2005. At a time when about 15% of world population used the internet, businesses participating on this webpage experienced more than 50% increase in sales. Now, Chase Leland Curtis wants to revive this idea and remodel it in a whole new way.

Though similar to the concept of Million Dollar Homepage, Icons will not be specifically for business. The creator is inviting all bloggers, advertisers, marketers, and social media users to try out Icons. After purchasing a space, users will be able to upload their icon. Each icon will have an icon profile that will display the Icon's title, image, social link, amount of likes and a share button. Depending on their need, users will be able to connect the link of the icon to their Facebook profile, business website, YouTube video, a broken link, or anything else they want.

There will be an 'Icon of the Week' page that will feature the best of the icons chosen on the basis of their design, link, and the amount of votes it receives. Also known as the Iconic Icon page, this will be the starting page of the app.

Chase Leland Curtis has recently started a Kickstarter campaign to meet his expenses for this project. The proceeds from this campaign will be spent on app development, design, logarithms, equations, maintenance, licensing, anti-hacking software, monthly fees, and time. This project will only be funded if at least $52,000 is pledged by June 13, 2015.
