Oklahoma City, OK -- (SBWire) -- 06/01/2015 --Metro Technology Centers serves the Oklahoma City area in a number of different ways, including assisting at-risk students by helping them achieve a high school diploma, complete career training, and prepare for college. Metro Tech Centers is proud to be of service to the community in this way, assisting young people who are particularly at risk by providing them with an education and academic assistance to keep them on the right path in life.

Metro Tech is devoted to helping at-risk students who are 15 years and older that face serious challenges towards achieving a high school diploma as well as career training. This academy serves families as well, offering a Parent Resource Center, which is a family-oriented program that enables parents and their family members to play a bigger role in their children's education.

The Mentorship Program is yet another way that Metro Tech serves the community, helping students by connecting them with caring individuals who are a source of support and friendship for them. The Community Partners offers a network of supportive services between the school and community to give children every chance they deserve to succeed in life.

There are many at-risk kids in the Oklahoma City area and many of them require outside help to improve their chances of getting a high school diploma and doing well in life. Things like career development and community support are important when nurturing young people and their drive to do well in school, which is why Metro Tech offers all of these services. The mentors that participate in the mentorship program are carefully selected to provide young people with solid role models who they can look up to for inspiration, support, and friendship, providing them with more stability in their lives.

The career training that the Metro Tech offers for at-risk students can be especially helpful, as it prepares them for after they graduate high school as well as college. Proper career training is extremely important for young people and this program offers some excellent assistance for students who may struggle with getting a job later on without the proper help, encouragement, and guidance.
