London, UK -- (SBWire) -- 06/02/2015 --Street furniture can bring many functional and design benefits to a public area. Furnitubes International offers innovative design whilst providing many practical benefits to meet the needs of the area, such as specific seating requirements. In order to provide the ideal furniture solutions to meet their customer's bespoke needs, Furnitubes, a leading street furniture provider, has recently announced the availability of the new Pergone Bench as part of the Pergone Range. This bench is comprised of columns and mild steel mesh panels, with a hot dipped galvanized finish. The slats used for the bench seat are made from recycled plastic, working towards providing environmentally friendly furniture. The Pergone Bench is available in two different models – suitable for use by 4-5 people, or complete with below-platform infill panels to allow benches to be positioned side by side.

A spokesperson from the company commented, "The Pergone bench design compliments the fence and wall products of the same name, using a twin horizontal or single vertical wire mesh panels mounted to skeletal end columns. The void between the panels is generally infilled with natural stone or other masonry, which can be a single material or placed in layers of differing materials for added visual interest. At 2700mm long, the standard bench comfortably accommodates 4-5 people, and when used side-by-side (with small connector panels between) Pergone can form a continuous seating wall."
