Marko Stout to Exhibit at 8th Annual Art Hamptons

New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 06/05/2015 --Marko Stout will be exhibiting an assortment of the latest works from his critically acclaimed "Chelsea Girls" series at the Art Hamptons Show 07/03/15 through 07/05/15. The annual Art Hamptons show takes place legendary Hamptons, a cluster of wealthy enclaves on Long Island's South Fork, remains a celebrity summer playground, with splashy restaurants and nightclubs galore.

As part of a multi-national tour featuring the works of popular New York artist, the Art Hamptons will be showing an assortment of the artist's latest work. Marko's exhibition is making stops in New York, Berlin, Amsterdam, LA, Paris, amongst others. Marko Stout is bringing his critically acclaimed "Chelsea Girls" print series on what could easily be perceived as a rock tour -- just as thunderous but with a little more color and a content with the impact of one hundred empowering ballads.

One may also note the ties between Marko's series and Andy Warhol's 1966 experimental film, "Chelsea Girls." And how Chelsea, NYC seemed to have struck the two artists in a similar, influential way. In the series Marko captures the energy, grit and raw movement of Chelsea and invites audiences to meet the city's unique characters.

Accompanying his touring "Chelsea Girls" series is Marko's experimental video installation "Manhattan Project No. 09", where viewers are invited to put on headphones and get entranced in a modern, rhythmic and energized video portrayal of what can only be described as a dreamlike state designed for the senses.

The Art Hamptons will also be exhibiting more than 60 international galleries representing 14 countries, showcasing international Post-War and Contemporary art.

The annual fine art fair ArtHamptons will take place over Independence Day weekend this summer at a private estate on Lumber Lane in Bridgehampton—about a mile east of its former site at Nova's Ark Project Sculpture Fields. The ArtHamptons opening night VIP preview party, one of the highlights of the Hamptons summer for many years, will be held on Thursday, July 2. The show will be open to the public from Friday, July 3rd, through Sunday, July 5th.
