London, UK -- (SBWire) -- 06/19/2015 --London recruitment to recruitment agency, GSR2R, have recently commented on the figures which reveal that the number of people in the UK in work grew by 611 000 in 2014, the biggest growth experienced in Europe.

The figures revealed by the government show UK in the lead when it comes to job growth in 2014, with a 200 000 job gap between the UK and Spain. Overall, the UK job increase accounted for 20% across the whole of the EU, with only Spain, Germany and Poland receiving significant job growth of other 300 000 created jobs. France even saw a dip by 2 000, which shows just how impressive the UK figures are.

Going deeper into what the figures mean, 300 000 of the jobs went to women, which is more than any of the other EU countries in 2014, and young citizens in the UK finding work has also been on the rise by 109 000, a rise which exceeds the rest of the EU combined.

These figures make the unemployment the second lowest in Europe, only beaten by Germany, with the UK's current employment figures standing at 73.5%.
