Scott Tucker to Score New Movie

Musician and composer Scott Tucker has recently announced plans to score the new independent film, ‘Tantamount.’ Movie Favorites features exclusive audio and video clips from the recording process.

Anaheim, CA -- (SBWire) -- 07/06/2015 --The upcoming article from Movie Favorites will feature composer and instrumentalist Scott Tucker. The latest musical contribution by Tucker will be a score to an upcoming independent film. The project will be be Tucker's first solo venture. The score and film are to be released later next month.

"We have worked with Tucker twice before," says Movie Favorites contributor George Ashton. "This time has been truly inspirational from both a professional and personal aspect. Tucker sat down with us and showed us exactly how he composed a few tracks from the score. All the work that went into a single track gives a much greater appreciation of that final product."

The score was produced digitally on Tucker's home studio computers. Using several pieces of recording software he was able to mix and layer very subtle effects not commonly used. He hopes to open up new ideas for other composers from his field and others.

"I've been composing music for as long as I can remember," says Tucker. "It's my passion to find out how to express the sounds going through my head in new and more accurate ways. With all the technology out there, it's easy to get lost, so the foundational vision is the most important thing. I think this is my best work to date."
