Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 07/08/2015 --As two years of the Mummers Mardi Gras event have passed, the producers at ADVENT are aiming to make the 2016 event bigger and better than ever. After the success seen on their parade through Manayunk in February, the company is hopeful that the Mardi Gras Mummers parade near Philadelphia can return to Manayunk with the same engagement from the community.

Producers are currently searching for sponsors and participants to become involved in this great event to maintain its success in the future. Mummers Mardi Gras was created to keep the famous Mummers tradition alive throughout the year, and support the string bands that have impacted the lives of many residents in the greater Philadelphia area. In February, the event raised over $17,000 to benefit and aid the String Band Association. ADVENT is honored to have been entrusted with the opportunity to earn sponsorship dollars to fund Philadelphia's oldest and most memorable tradition.

Through numerous sponsors, and a family-friendly event that brings residents up close and personal with their favorite string bands, thousands of people were in attendance to show their support. Plans for 2016 are beginning to come together, and ADVENT is excited to provide enhancements and additional activities to maintain the interactivity for guests.
