Dallas, TX -- (SBWire) -- 07/16/2015 --Filmmaker Joshua B. Power, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for his newest project:  Dr. Who - Dimensions,  a FanFilm series based on the popular Dr. Who franchise.  The BBC will not allow this series to air on the Internet, but Power has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for production for a direct to DVD campaign for private viewing; which he is allowed to do, contributions towards production of this series will receive an EXCLUSIVE FREE copy of Doctor Who - Dimensions DVD.

The FanFilm series will include scenes shot in the Tardis Control Room set built with funds raised through IndieGoGo.  Although the series is based on BBC's Dr. Who characters, the storylines and action will be unique and new; The Doctor is trained in hand-to-hand combat and in addition to carrying his trusty sonic-screwdriver and psychic-paper, he also totes around a silver 9mm slide-action handgun on his side while nonchalantly smoking his camel-cigarettes; as a running joke The Doctor tries to quit smoking cigarettes off-and-on, often.

Along the way The Doctor has picked-up the peculiar habit of cussing, no-thanks to the humans.  Another running joke is that The Doctor always needs his fix of Starbucks coffee and has a new affinity for American jellybeans.  Fans of the BBC series will find more adventures with their favorite characters based on this popular story line.

The IndieGoGo campaign, located at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/doctor-who-dimensions#/story, will raise funds to enable the formation of "Knights Templar Pictures, LLC" and to build the Tardis control room set as well as other sets.  Pledges available in amounts ranging from $10 to $1,000 and include perks such as The New Doctors' Sunglasses, Posters, The Doctors favorite 16oz.
