Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWire) -- 07/23/2015 --Can you surf, do yoga, stay in a beautiful location in Nicaragua, support the environment and simultaneously know that you're supporting a local community with schools and clean water? Yes you can, and you will learn all about it by listening to Earl Cahill, co-owner of El Coco Loco, to be interviewed by Beth Green, host of InsideOut: The Inner Revolution on Thursday, July 23, 3-4 pm Pacific time.

"Earl and his partners are bringing a new consciousness to tourism," says Beth. "They were three Canadian students who travelled in the Third World and felt moved by the poverty they saw. They had a dream to create an eco-friendly resort that would help, rather than exploit people. It took a number of years, but they were able to create El Coco Loco, which is linked to their inspiring non-profit Waves of Hope. It's working."

El Coco Loco offers visitors a chance to nurture themselves physically and spiritually with healthy living and healthy fun, including organized yoga retreats. But it also offers volunteer opportunities for people who wish to help out with their many projects. Right now, Waves of Hope is working toward building a new high school, supporting a sea turtle conversation project and bringing clean water to the local residents, among things. And they are gaining support. For example, volunteer trips have already included many groups, including Surf for Life, as well as North American educational organizations, such as Case Western Reserve University.

Waves of Hope, their non-profit is also going gang busters in terms of funding. Over the past five and a half years, more than $250,000 has been raised and invested into the local community through various projects and initiatives.

"These people are amazing," says host Beth Green. "Their dedication and success can inspire anybody who wants to make a difference, and we believe many people will be interested in learning about this resort and the vision behind it."

InsideOut: The Inner Revolution airs weekly on Thursdays, 3-4 pm Pacific, on VoiceAmerica.com, Variety channel. Shows are available thereafter via podcast. Although less than two months old, InsideOut: The Inner Revolution has attracted world-renowned guests and is making waves.
