South Plainfield, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 08/06/2015 --For three decades, Radiant Communications Corporation has been at the forefront of communications technology. They design communications equipment that are widely used by major television companies and broadcast networks, as well as government institutions to transmit data, video and audio over high-speed connections. In keeping with the company's mission to continually improve upon its cost-effective telecommunications solutions, Radiant Communications Corporation has announced that they are currently improving their RM1121 remote monitoring system.

The RM1121 remote monitoring system currently allows CATV companies to monitor the quality of transmitted video at remote hubsites or unmanned locations over the internet. The RM1121 monitors up to four CATV boxes at a time and also monitors multiple AD Sales Channels from multiple zones at one time. The remote monitoring capabilities of this system eliminate the need to dispatch a vehicle to the location to observe quality and diagnose any existing issues, which saves users time and money.

At present, this monitoring system is restricted to running on a Windows platform. However, Radiant Communications Corporation is currently working with a major multiple-system operator (MSO) to expand the capabilities of the RM1121. With the new server application, the system will be accessible from most devices with internet capabilities, including Mac and Android devices. The expansion of device accessibility will allow users more flexibility and convenience in how they choose to monitor remote video.

The RM1121 is one of many products available from Radiant Communications Corporation. To learn about their stock of fiber patch panels, MPEG-2 encoding hardware and more, visit their website or call 800-969-3427.
