Encounter App dares to fix what social applications have left broken - better human interaction.

Sydney, Australia -- (SBWire) -- 08/06/2015 --Today, Encounter, an app that makes you more social in a physical sense during your sporadic free time, is entering a limited Beta phase. Encounter helps you be a better friend by showing you who is nearby and available to meet up in real-time. Only 2,000 users at this point in time will be given access to trial the system, which will be released on the App Store over the coming weeks.

One of Encounter's founders, Nick Forster, says the app solves the important social issue of 'flaking'. "We envisaged an app that would help put the spontaneity back into socializing by allowing people to act in real time; doing what they want, when they want, with who they want", he says. The app is designed to make the planning process frictionless so that your social gatherings can be bigger and better.

Jake Fitzgerald, the other founder, says the app is designed to make us better humans, not just ones that stare at a screen.
