For this year’s Oyster Festival, Main Street Oyster House partners with the Downtown Bel Air Alliance and the Chesapeake Health Foundation to raise funds and awareness for local treatment center.

Bel Air, MD -- (SBWire) -- 08/18/2015 --On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Main Street Oyster house will host an all-day fundraising event to raise cancer awareness and funds as part of their annual Wine and Oyster Festival, held inside and on the large parking lot adjoining the Bel Air restaurant.

The Kaufman Cancer Center, a facility providing a world class care for more than 100 cancer patients every single day, is celebrating their second anniversary this year. To help them celebrate, Main Street Oyster House is donating a portion of all sales that day to help fund their facility as part of the October 'Paint the Town Pink' activities in Bel Air.

All local businesses are encouraged to help make this Wine and Oyster Fest cancer fundraising event a success by participating in the following possible ways:

Having a vendor stand at the event (free of charge) and inviting your contacts

Donating a gift card or any item for raffle or for silent auction

Sponsoring an activity for children (donate prizes or funds to purchase prizes or underwrite the cost of game rentals) All sponsorships will be displayed on the activity.

Planning an employee gathering for the event (a portion of all proceeds go to the center)

Event donors, vendors and sponsors will be recognized in a Press Release, signage for the event, and recognition during the check presentation to the Kaufman Cancer Center.
