The Utah Film Awards has been a favorite contest for filmmakers, interested in bringing attention to their work. For this year's event, the benefits of participating are larger than ever. Utah Film Awards recently announced they have partnered with distributors and agents to screen every submission to the contest opening the door to filmmakers possibly making connections who will pay for their shorts.

Starting this year, the Utah Film Awards will now be partnered with both distributors and sales agents to screen every submission to the award show first hand. This can act as a gateway to selling projects quickly, some even before the contest begins.
