Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks Acquire Rights to AHL Defenseman

Lamar Hunt Jr.'s professional hockey team the Missouri Mavericks have recently announced their acquisition of ECHL rights to Bryce Aneloski of Orlando.

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWire) -- 09/24/2015 --Lamar Hunt Jr., owner and president of the Missouri Mavericks, LLC announced last month that his team won ECHL rights to AHL player and Orlando Solar Bear player Bryce Aneloski. The trade with Orlando involved rights two of the Missouri Mavericks team members: Lindsay Sparks and Tyler Currier.

Previously, Bryce Aneloski of Pekin, IL played for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL as well as the AHL teams the Providence Bruins and the Toronto Marlies. The 2010 NHL Entry Draft defenseman scored a total 27 points with the Orlando Solar Bears throughout his time with the team. He was selected 196th overall in the NHL Entry Draft by the Otttawa Senators and played in a number of their development camps.

The Missouri Mavericks made the switch to the Premier 'AA' league the ECHL last season from the Central Hockey League along with six other teams. Aneloski will play with the Mavericks when he is not playing with the AHL team the Bridgeport Sound Tigers who he signed with earlier this year.
