Publishes New Information on How People Find Attorneys

Orlando, FL -- (SBWire) -- 09/29/2015 --Orlando attorneys Moses and Rooth Attorneys at Law partnered with marketing experts, Mike Blumenthal and NiftyLaw, to determine how people in the United States find lawyers in 2015. The survey generated over 20,000 participants nationwide and gathered a tremendous amount of data through one simple, open-ended question: "How did you find the lawyer that you hired?" The data has been presented in an infographic here:

"Most individuals turn to their friends when they need to hire an attorney" Jay Rooth, attorney and spokesperson for the firm, reports. The survey found only two exceptions to this. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 24 are most likely to use the Internet to find and retain a lawyer. Of the survey participants in this younger age group, nearly 18 percent retained a lawyer using this method, while 12 percent turned to a friend. Also, individuals who made more than $150,000 a year were more inclined to use the Internet to search for a lawyer.

Men and women differ in how they find lawyers. Although both first rely on friends when looking for a lawyer, men will turn to the Internet if they don't find an attorney through a friend, while women turn to referrals as a second option.

Survey factors include age, gender, urban density, income level and parental status.
