High Point, NC -- (SBWire) -- 10/06/2015 --On Friday, September 18, 2015, ImageFIRST North Carolina proudly participated in the company's first Annual Community Giving Day. This "Give Where You Live Day" was a day where associates from 13 ImageFIRST locations all over the United States spent their time at a local nonprofit organization or charity. The organization that ImageFIRST North Carolina chose to donate their time to was Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is an international nonprofit organization devoted to constructing or renovating homes for those in need. They have over 1,400 local affiliates in the U.S., and have helped millions of families all over the world. The company takes volunteers and monetary donations, and people can also donate furniture, appliances and other various home materials.

The purpose at ImageFIRST, for locations across the United States and Puerto Rico, is "to build a great company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, our community, our customers and their patients." Therefore, all locations make it a priority to give back all throughout the year. In fact, aside from participating in the Community Giving Day this year, several ImageFIRST North Carolina associates participated in a 5K this past April for the local organization, "Community Outreach of Archdale-Trinity" (COAT). Lastly, this ImageFIRST location was also able to donate over $1,800 to the Wounded Warrior Project® in June.

All of the associates from ImageFIRST North Carolina who spent their time at Habitat for Humanity this past September, and running in the COAT 5K, were glad to have donated their time to such great causes. The company looks forward to doing more events like this over the last quarter of 2015, and into 2016.
