NYC Queens Flushing Meadows Park the Place for Hauntings and Restless Ghosts

Queens Flushing Meadows Park is home to the New York Mets, the National Tennis Center and of course... some sleepless ghostly spirits. So says New York's own Ghost Doctors.

New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 10/06/2015 --Some strange and unexplained ghostly phenomena is haunting Queens Flushing Meadows Park says Pete & Stew Kandel (known as Dr. Pete and Dr. Stew) noted paranormal investigators and licensed NYC tour guides aka New York's own "Ghost Doctors."

The Ghost Doctors say they have found signs of some strange paranormal activity within the 1255 acre wonderland located in the heart of Queens especially in those areas occupied by the remaining remnants of the past two World's Fairs.

"Flushing Meadows Park was the home of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fair and nearly one hundred million people visited these grounds just for the fairs alone, which makes for a heck of lot of "spirited' fairgoers that may still be hanging around," says Dr. Stew.

Joining them on their ghostly hunts this fall, the Ghost Doctors will be leading groups of ghost hunters in training on actual explorations through the fair ground's famous locations. Armed with a battery of electronic ghost hunting gear, they'll embark on a supernatural reconnaissance mission, prowling Flushing Meadows for signs of ghostly paranormal activity.

The Ghost Doctors say, being in Flushing Meadows is almost like being in an outdoor museum considering all the historic and iconic structures that are still standing from a time long gone.

"What is so fascinating about exploring Flushing Meadows Park is that every investigation is never the same especially in those areas that were once part of the old World's Fairs. Moreover, one never knows what phenomena will be encountered in these different historic locations and that's why they call it ghost hunting," says Dr. Stew.
