Lamar Hunt Jr. continues to support the Fellowship of Catholic University Students through the Loretto Foundation. FOCUS will take two mission trips this winter.

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWire) -- 10/12/2015 --Lamar Hunt Jr. continues his support of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students through the Loretto Foundation. FOCUS reaches university students through a presence on more than 100 campuses with more than 450 staff members. Members of the FOCUS fellowship regularly take mission trips during school breaks, and will be going to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico this winter.

The FOCUS Varsity Catholic winter mission trip to St. Lucia in the Dominican Republic carries spiritual love from fellowship mission members to children and adults while enjoying sports together. The trip is centered around a soccer camp which aims to show the people of the Dominican Republic how they can glorify Him with their talents.

Attendees of the FOCUS mission to the Dominican Republic will get a chance to work side by side with local residents to gain a greater understanding of what it is like to work in their less wealthy culture. The mission will take place from December 26, 2015 to January 2, 2016 directed by Ryan Allen with co-leaders: David Driskill, Stephanie Armstrong, Margaret Gitchell, and Seth Wiedel.
