New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 10/16/2015 --The Bizarre Case of the Globular Gullet is a full-length animated feature film that tells the touching and humorous story of a bullied little witch named Hazel who battles the evil Dr. Wolfgang for the survival of her town and her family.  Created by MGC Films, LLC, this movie is the ultimate underdog story told in the form of an original animated musical.  The movie deals with the timely topics of bullying and humiliation and the path of anger and vengeance to which they can lead.

The story concerns a mysterious disease called the Globular Gullet. The Globular Gullet causes witches to have a high fever and to cough out colorful bubbles. The villain Dr. Wolfgang gives the witches a potion that cures the Globular Gullet but also removes their power by shrinking their warts.  Hazel and her cat, Merlin, must solve the bizarre case before it is too late for her mother and the other townspeople, and must deal with her own problems of being bullied in order to do so.

The film will feature at least 30 minutes of action with six original songs.  The creators have completed the storyboard and have developed and drawn the main characters.  Funds raised by the Kickstarter campaign will be used to pay expenses related to the voice-overs, sound and music recordings.  The goal is to screen the film in the fall of 2016.
