Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL Team Lose to Alaska Aces

Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks recently lost the second game of their 2015-16 ECHL season in Anchorage, AK against the Alaska Aces.

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWire) -- 10/16/2015 --Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks were defeated in the second game of the 2015-16 season as they played a second game against the Alaska Aces in Anchorage, AK. The games was the second of two back to back exhibition games held at the Sullivan Arena, the home ice of the Aces.

The Mavericks scored in the first period thanks to defenseman Trevor Ludwig who was also on the starting lineup for the game. The starting line up also included: Colin Markison, David de Kastrozza, Josh Holmstrom, and C. J. Ludwig. Goalie Josh Robinson allowed no goals from the Aces during his time on the ice in the first period of the game.

More than 1,400 fans were in attendance for the Mavericks second game of the season. The Missouri Mavericks will return home after their 12 day road trip to play their first home game of the season at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena on October 24th. The first home game of the 2015-16 Mavericks season will be played against the team's local rivals the Wichita Thunder.
