London, UK -- (SBWire) -- 10/29/2015 --Franco and the Dreadnought is the pseudonym of Manchester born multi instrumentalist John Blaylock. It's a winning combination of his heartfelt vocals, superb songwriting skills and his trusty Dreadnought acoustic guitar.

Franco is no stranger to success and as a testament to the power of his musical ability, he was asked personally by Desmond Tutu to write a song celebrating the life of Nelson Mandela. The archbishop gave the song entitled "Inyaniso" (translation - "Truth") as a gift to Mr Mandela for his birthday.

Franco has been making waves both sides of the Atlantic, having completed his first US tour last year, he was back in LA in April to keep up writing links with the likes of Rick Garcia (Hollywood voice over artist and songwriter), Pam Sheyne (writer for Christina Aguilera / Corinne Bailey Rae / Miley Cyrus) and Marcella Detroit (Shakespeare Sister / Bananarama)

It was in LA Franco wrote and recorded his brand new EP and teamed up with UK based record label Supersonic Media. As an introduction to Franco, prior to the EP dropping in 2016 we have a free download in the shape of "Like Yeah No I Don't Know".

"Like Yeah No I Don't Know" is a catchy indie pop ditty destined to be an earworm. This upbeat love song exposes the emotional rollercoaster of falling in love.
