Cannes, France -- (SBWire) -- 11/13/2015 --The creators of a Japanese Animation Studio and Gaming Village Creator have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to allow them to bring their creation to Cannes, France. This Japanese Village will include gaming environments such as "360 Degrees" and "4K" with live satellite uplinks for global connectivity.

The City of Cannes is sponsoring a technical animation film school opportunity as well as a gaming studio featuring three of the most popular Japanese film-making styles, Mr. Myazaki, Mr. Matsumoto, and Mr. Oda: long film animation, manga animation and anime. The creators have been contacted by Facebook about organizing a tour for interested Japanese investors in Cannes, as well as investors from the United States and other parts of the world. The creators of this idea are in negotiation with the Japanese publishing company, Oykama, that holds the copyright to the three famous Japanese animators. An agreement of principle has been reached and the Cannes animation studio will include the all three animators and their work.

According to the creators, "At the heart of our studio technical concept is Japanese technology that combines real background film shots with the high-quality, hand drawn artwork. There are no computer graphics involved. As a result of this cost effective technology, our films will cost one-third less, so our animation films will be more competitive globally compared to Hollywood or Disney. Our studio will also include a gaming environment: "360 Degrees" and "4K" with live satellite uplink for global connectivity."
