Norristown, PA -- (SBWire) -- 12/04/2015 --It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the local wildlife refuge, Elmwood Park Zoo! Families can visit the park to enjoy a wide range of holiday events and activities this season. The walk-around safari offers endless fun things to do near Bucks County, PA, even during the winter.

The chimney isn't the only place Santa pays a visit to! He will be visiting the zoo for a delicious meal with the kids to spread holiday cheer and joy. The Brunch with Santa event is now open to the public for registration and tickets are currently on sale. The occasion will be held every weekend throughout the month of December and features holiday-themed crafts, photos with Santa, an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet and more.

The animal park will need some help decorating for the holidays. Come to the rescue by joining in their first-ever Wreath Contest, where winners will receive cash prizes. Contestants can enter by decorating a holiday wreath to express their own personal flair and contributing it to be displayed at the animal park from December 5 through the 20. A first, second and third place winner will be determined by the tally of votes submitted by guests at the Brunch with Santa events.

Every child may feel excited to meet Santa Claus and tell him what they want for Christmas, but the reindeer need some attention too. At designated times each day, kids can meet Santa's "reindeer in training" and take a photo with them for purchase. The opportunity will begin on Black Friday and last until the end of the year, and will be held in the former giraffe exhibit.
