New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 12/07/2015 --Cherrystone announces their participation in the upcoming world stamp show. The show titled "The Largest Stamp Show in the US" is scheduled to run from May 28-June 4, 2016 at the Jacob Javitis Convention Center in New York. Admission to the event is free throughout the 8day show.

The World Stamp Show

The world Stamp Event is held once in a decade usually in a year ending with either "6" or "7". This is in honor of America's first postage stamps that were issued in 1847. This once in a decade exhibition has been held in the U.S for the last century.

The Company will represent with a booth at the exhibition. Ahead of the May 2016 Stamp Show, the auction company has scheduled sales every 6-8 weeks. This is in line with the company's policy to hold public sales at the New York City Auction galleries every 6-8 weeks. The upcoming sales will feature auctions and deadlines for consignments.

The forthcoming stamp show is expected to attract over 200,000 people including beginner stamp collectors, advanced stamp collectors and an array of buyers. The event will also attract over 50 postal bureaus including the U.S. Postal Service and U.N postal administration who will be selling their most recent stamp issues. The show will display over 4000 exhibits of frames, medals and prizes
