Suffern, NY -- (SBWire) -- 12/10/2015 --Katsof Consulting, a company established with the aim of bridging the gap between fund managers around the world and institutional investors led two U.S. Commerce Department Certified Trade Missions of U.S. private equity, venture capital ,real estate and hedge fund managers to meet with Institutional investors from Canada's largest insurance companies, pension funds, institutional investors and family offices. The Trade Missions visited both Toronto and Montreal, Canada, and were attended by no less than forty six representatives from Canada.

The Missions were designed to provide one-on-one meetings with investors, as well as the opportunity to meet institutional limited partner investors from some of the largest Insurance companies and pension funds.

The missions included a forum during which ideas and strategies were exchanged with investors, other U.S.-based fund managers, and policy-makers, making for an exclusive opportunity for intimate interaction between U.S. GPs and foreign LPs, as well as the promotion of U.S. PE and VC funds. There was also an introduction of the U.S. PE and VC funds to foreign Limited Partner investors.

Under the strategic leadership of Irwin Katsof, an appointee of former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Locke, the group of twelve of the US' most prominent private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds and venture capital funds from the U.S. met 46 of the leading Canadian Insurance companies, Pension Funds and family offices to explore investments into the U.S. Funds.
