Berlin, OH -- (SBWire) -- 01/08/2016 --Amish Leben is a group that has documented area events and the lives of the Amish in Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere for many years through digital media.  However, the group has never published a print version of its pictures and stories.  Now, Amish Leben has launched a Kickstarter campaign to publish a print version entitled, "Amish Leben - Favorites Collection".

According to editor J.D. Schrock, "After several years of digital publishing on our website and social media channels, Amish Leben is adding its first-ever print publication to the mix. While we love digital, print is a medium that adds a whole new dynamic and brings out the richness and vibrancy of Amish country and culture in a way that you'll love. In fact, the print copy is so superior to digital that we have decided not to issue a digital version."

Content that has already been created for the new book includes: "Mose Hershberger pickin' corn with his 6-mule team"; "Majestic Brush Valley, Pennsylvania"; "Siss fiah drovah in de shiah"; "Northern Indiana Amish Country"; "Leroy Beachy's Ausbund Hymnal collection and display"; "If These Walls Could Talk"; "Melvin Erb and Sara Mae Barkman's race to the finish"; "Some great photos of Pinecraft, Florida by Katie Troyer"; "Holmes County Bluegrass at the Benton Ohio Block Party"; and "Machelle Glick - Children are a heritage from the Lord."

The Kickstarter campaign, located at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/favoritescollection/amish-leben-favorites-collection features pledge levels ranging from $5 to $750, with rewards including copies of the publication, various photos taken by photographer/writer JD Schrock, and personal tours of Holmes County, Ohio.  For more information on specific rewards associated with each pledge level, see the Kickstarter page.
