Oklahoma City, OK -- (SBWire) -- 02/04/2016 --Oklahoma Heart Hospital is currently searching for numerous nurses for its Critical Care Unit. There is an immediate $5,000 sign-on bonus for those who get hired into this particular position. Those who are hired as a CCU nurse at this hospital must take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients and provide care via various therapeutic treatments, interventions, and other means. This nurse must demonstrate an adequate amount of knowledge and professionalism.

The CCU nursing positions that are open right now at Oklahoma Heart Hospital are for the 7AM-7PM shift, and all applicants must be registered with current Oklahoma licensure. Currently, BLS certification is required at the time of hire as well as ACLS certification within 18 months of hire. A minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in telemetry or some related cardiac setting is preferred for this position. Those who get hired as CCU nurses must be able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings within the hospital.

Critical Care Unit nurses must work well with others and actively encourage teamwork among their peers and staff. This is a full-time nursing position at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South and requires those who have an adequate amount of knowledge, experience, and motivation. The need for CCU nurses is great right now and requires those who are able to work under pressure on a regular basis.

The Critical Care Unit is where patients who are in especially critical condition are taken, so it requires nurses who are able to rise above stress and give the necessary amount of attention and care to all patients in this area at all times.
