Dallas, TX -- (SBWire) -- 02/23/2016 --At a conference last week in Bangkok, Thailand, Don Margolis, founder and chairman of the Repair Stem Cells Institute, issued a statement outlining how the medical establishment, (sometimes known as "Big Pharma" or simply "Pharma") deliberately obscures results of clinical trials on the use of stem cells to treat heart disease. In his statement, Margolis echoed the sentiments of Dr. Chauncey Crandall, M.D., head of preventative medicine and cardiology services at the Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic, who in 2013 stated the reason he would not prescribe Merck's new cholesterol treatment drug Liptruzet. Dr. Crandall had stated: "This is just another smokescreen for the drug companies to make money."

"Good morning.

On February 18th, Telegram.com ran an article entitled "Researchers try stem cell therapy to lessen cardiac damage." The article relates the work of Dr. Jeffrey Rade, medical director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at UMass Memorial Medical Center. I am here today to take strong exception with one key word in that seemingly very promising announcement – the word "try."

We all realize that heart disease is a global pandemic, but perhaps not everyone here realizes its full magnitude. Here are the astounding statistics.

Combined cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease, is the #1 cause of death worldwide. More people die from CVDs than any other cause. In fact, it claims more lives than all forms of cancer combined. In the U.S. that translates into 2,150 deaths each day, or one every 40 seconds.

The good news is that, with a global commitment, it is possible to nearly eradicate the dangers and effects of heart attacks by replacing the heart cells which die during a heart attack using stem cells.

The bad news is there exists an equally horrible pandemic which is preventing the commitment. That is, Big Pharma's relentless campaign to prioritize profits over health. In the U.S. alone, coronary heart disease was projected to cost $108.9 billion, including the cost of health care services, medications, and lost productivity. This is Big Money. The profits to Big Pharma and their hip pocket doctors run in the billions. No one, not even Donald Trump, can afford to give up that kind of money.

So, why do I take exception with the word "try"? Because it is code for "deliberate obstruction." In the context of the article title, it refers to the ongoing clinical trials at UMass which promise to "try" to determine if an infusion of a patient's own adult stem cells, properly processed, can decrease the size of a scar left by a heart attack by replacing it with living tissue.

Here is the Big Lie which intentionally murders hundreds of thousands of heart patients every year: "Whether those specific stem cells can actually do that, no one knows – that's why they call it a clinical trial."

Just ask Dr. Joshua Hare at Miami University how many patients from his many clinical trials are living better lives today because he has been replacing their dead heart tissue with adult stem cells for eight years now! Or ask Dr. Dib in Arizona for his overwhelmingly successful results over the years. Or ask Dr. Patel in Utah who over ten years ago proved conclusively that the process works in trials! All of them used simple inexpensive stem cells. But if they want to insist on using cardiac stem cells, what are they doing that hasn't already been done in Los Angeles and Louisville in 2012?

All of these legitimate patient-caring cardiologists tried to save some of the hundreds of thousands of patients still being forced to rely on archaic pill- and surgery-based cardiology when the alternative of stem cell treatment already exists. But Big Pharma and their intentionally lying doctors have a huge financial stake in pretending that they don't yet know if stem cell treatments work – even if it means continuing to kill hundreds of thousands more patients who could be living healthy and productive lives. And, remember, this is not something abstract – it's personal. Your loved ones, your friends, your colleagues, perhaps even you, are among those many, many patients who might die senselessly and needlessly so a handful of others can live very, very well.

So, I say to you, it's time to stop "trying." It's time to start "doing." Thank you.
