Indian Intellectual Property Guru TED Talk video goes Viral!

Bangalore, India -- (SBWire) -- 03/24/2016 --Inventions touch every facet of our lives but have you ever thought about what makes an inventor want to invent. Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala started seeing an answer to this question more than 10 years ago and what he has learned culminated at a TEDx talk on February 27, 2016 titled "What Motivates Inventors? Patents or Passion?". This was a highly anticipated and must attend event since Dr. Kalyan, considered a preeminent intellectual property scholar, is the first IP attorney to be invited to speak at a TEDx Talk in India.

He began his talk by saying "Inventions are a integral part of our lives. We live with inventions, in inventions and around inventions!". So what really motivates inventors? With this as the premise, Dr. Kalyan masterfully reflects on the reasons such as passion, money, patents, recognition, etc.... His ultimate findings about which of these factors most motivates an inventor however is a little surprising. It isn't what most people would think.
