United Parcel Service (UPS) Loses Easter Bunny on Easter

Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 04/04/2016 --Jerome Taylor is an activist who sees ways to put a smile on the face of the kids of Camden, New Jersey. Camden is a city littered with abandoned properties, has a rampant drug problem, and there is always an air of danger around the neighborhoods.

Activist Jerome Taylor decided to host several events to brighten up his city. One was an Easter Egg Hunt for underprivileged kids. This event took place at the Fairview Methodist Church at 1463 Chesapeake Road, Camden. The children hunted for an hour and a half looking for 750 candy-filled eggs that volunteers hid all over the church lawn.

The Easter Egg Hunt was not without its issues. Target.com first lost, and then cancelled, the first two Easter Bunny costume orders. All week long, organizers called Target.com to ensure the arrival of the third Easter Bunny suit. They also made several calls to United Parcel Service (UPS). Target.com Customer Service promised that the Easter Bunny would arrive by Friday, March 25. UPS finally admitted that the bunny suit was not available for delivery until the Monday after Easter.

The failure to deliver the Easter Bunny costume as promised was catastrophic. Target.com's lost shipment problems and poor customer service is no surprise. However, the attitude of UPS was the real disappointment. On the Saturday before Easter, right before the event was to take place; Jerome Taylor finally found a rental center. Even though the only Easter Bunny costume left had a rip, Jerome Taylor was able to rent it at a premium price.

Because of his efforts, the Easter Bunny was finally able to make his appearance for the kids, and after that visit, hopped over to the nursing home.

The disappointing scenario has the Easter Bunny hopping mad for United Parcel Service and Target.com for failure to deliver the costume on Easter weekend to the underprivileged kids of Camden, New Jersey.
