Sunbury-on-Thames, England -- (SBWire) -- 04/22/2016 --A radical new plan to challenge global warming and climate change is underway as the UK plot to phase out the use of natural gas by heating homes and cooking with 'green' hydrogen. If things go to plan, this should all come into place within the next ten years.

The change is going to start off initially in Leeds, where all domestic cookers and boilers will be converted and in turn run using clean-burning 'green' hydrogen. It will cost around £2 billion to make Leeds a 'hydrogen city' according to Northern Gas Networks (NGN) who have recently received funding to assist in developing the idea and it is widely hoped that by 2025 Leeds will be 100% converted and other major cities across the UK will be able to replicate their changes and follow in their footsteps.
