The update has upgraded features to ensure that bespoke customization and editing are made much easier, enabling even novice developers or business owners even more control over their website.

Customization
Customization is the most key facet to designing any website regardless of skill set. The WordPress customiser has now been improved and should work faster than in previous versions. Selective on page element is now possible to add a custom logo in the website customiser which has been a long time coming for thousands of theme developers and would-be web designers alike, taking us one step closer to a one-click theme integration.

The WordPress themes allow for the easy application of slick designs without the need for previous web programming experience. Of course this depends on the level of customization required and the functionality is there to fine tune as much as needed but for people setting up a website without the use of a designer, this feature is a life saver. It is now possible to view a responsive design preview with the Customizer for each device type by simply clicking the desired device icon. This is a fantastic feature and certainly a very useful one.

The visual editor has the additional functionality of adding links in-line, Medium-style with a much improved tool tip input field, a significant improvement on a modal window. Text formatting shortcuts have also been added for the element and horizontal lines. Finally the settings for re-sizing images have been greatly improved too, reducing file sizes without impacting on the quality of images.
