Constant vessel pressure is maintained by gas flow out through a mist extractor to a pressure control valve.

This gas flow stream then passes to a compressor, which increases the pressure of the export gas, driven by a variable motor speed. A heat exchanger acts as a cooling medium at the outlet side of the compressor. The cooler is regulated by a temperature control loop. Also, an anti-surge controller loop is installed to protect the compressor from entering a surge condition.
