Coleford, Gloucestershire -- (SBWire) -- 06/16/2016 --According to reports from the Office for Nations Statistics (ONS), Britain's construction output had increased in April to 2.5% from the month previous, providing the largest increase witnessed since January 2014. The data has delivered renewed confidence within the economy, although sadly the rise didn't offset the decline of 3.6% for March.

According to the ONS, the timing of the Easter holidays may have impacted upon production figures which have been keenly monitored by economists throughout the UK. The entirety of the industry has witnessed a slowdown in business, with some grave figures leading up to 2016. The data is now looking more promising with industrial output being at the highest rate in April that is has been for four years.

With the looming EU referendum on membership, experts are hoping for a win vote as the impact of leaving the UK on Britain's construction industry would be sorely felt.
