Miami Beach, FL -- (SBWire) -- 06/16/2016 --O Cinema in Wynwood to the east of Miami Beach is collaborating with Sweat Records to present Iggy Pop: Live in Basel on Thursday, June 16th. The one night only event is an hour and twenty concert film held in Switzerland featuring singer-songwriter Iggy Pop performing many of his most famous songs including "Lust for Life".

Also happening on Thursday, the Miami New Times will be hosting its annual Best of Miami Party at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne to celebrate the winners and the release of its Best of Miami issue which hits newsstands this week. The 28th annual Taste of the Nation is also happening in Wynwood on Friday, June 17th. Attendees will be able to sample a variety of food and drink from some of Miami's most notable chefs and mixologists at Soho Studios. Over fifty eateries will also be providing food and there will be plenty of beer and spirits to try.
