SEX.Prostir, the First Educational Conference on Sex in Kiev, Ukraine Marks a Triumphant Success Against Taboo

New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 06/16/2016 --On Thursday, May 26 in Kiev (Ukraine), SEX.Prostir, the first educational conference about sex in public talk format was successfully conducted by a group of people who believe in the importance of popularization of sex education and open discussions. The name of the conference had an innovative acronym in the word SEX which had three meanings: Science, Education, eXperience. The mission of the project was to improve the sex education within the society, and encourage people to openly discuss and explore the topic of sexuality. The organizers have also chosen a meaningful slogan for the conference — "More Knowledge, Less Shame!"

The successful event was attended by more than 350 people and another 150 joined it on-line over the internet which signified that SEX.Prostir was the first project where speakers and listeners let go of their hesitance to openly discuss the issues pertaining to sex and sexuality which were of explosive interest and relevance to everyone who attended the event. Talking about the event and its success, Andriy Yaroshenko, sex evangelist and the project organizer said: "We were able to raise the topic of human sexuality to a new level — open, comprehensive, scientific".

The SEX.Prostir conference was divided into 2 parts:

The first part of the conference focused on the educational aspect and consisted of lectures by notable health experts, psychologists, scientists.

- Maxim Yakovlev, "Erotica VS Pornography": The purpose of the lecture was to to show that talk about sex should not only be in a whisper, blushing from embarrassment accompanied by giggles of interlocutors — on the contrary, sex can be discussed, comprehended, learned. Everything is much more complex and multifaceted, and all this is necessary to explore.

- Alexander Kolyada, "Gene of sex. The evolution and physiology of love": As one of the best geneticists of Ukraine, Alexander stressed that SEX.Prostir gave the opportunity "to show the natural component of sex and relationships — the foundation, which is absolutely devoid of cultural layers.

- Elena Gopchuk, "Physiology of orgasm": Professional obstetrician, Elena expressed that speaking in front of the large audience of the first conference on sex education became a joyful victory.

The second part was the eXperience program at the after party where the attendees were treated to ONE LOVE coffee for after party, where they had an opportunity to talk with the speakers, organizers and like-minded people in an easy and relaxed atmosphere. During the after party participants were presented a lecture on sex toys, in which the creator of the "First sex shop" Taras Krupa spoke about the importance of various inventions in the field of the sex industry for improving relations.

The highlight of the party was a creative design catwalk from the lingerie brand Bake Love by Lisa Kisterovaya and leather accessories from the brand MOY SLADKIY FETISH by Alla Maslennikova. Incidental music was provided by DJ duo MaxFree & Shimansky.

After the unprecedented success of the first conference, the next conference SEX.Prostir #2 has been scheduled to be held on 23rd of September 2016.
