New site developed and launched by London-based agency Pedalo

The site, which was designed and developed by London-based firm Pedalo, was rebuilt from the ground up to showcase the institution's numerous events, public forums, and research. One of the main objectives of the site's redesign is to more clearly communicate with a wider audience, and reach people across a broader range of devices.

"The importance of having a website with a modern, fluid, and responsive design simply cannot be overstated enough," Pedalo says. "With the BISI project, we wanted to showcase the very best of what the institution has to offer the European public, while at the same time equipping staff members to quickly and efficiently update content. Known for its wide range of grants, research projects, conferences, lectures, and other public events, BISI has taken a major role in supporting, retaining and re-quipping cultural heritage professionals of Iraq throughout the UK.
