Phuket, Thailand -- (SBWire) -- 10/03/2016 --In September a brand new 2016 Christmas song has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter 'Mark Hopkins' with the main aim of bringing awareness and exposure to the Phuket Charities and Orphanages that Mark supports.

The songs name is: 'I'm coming home for Christmas' and the songs genre is an unique up-tempo Rock/POP song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo guide of 'I'm coming home for Christmas' in 2015 on Phuket and has had the demo guide since then waiting for this opportunity to record.

In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the song over a 6 week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musician are from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist 'Micah Javier'. Even though 'I'm Coming Home For Christmas' was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing, engineering and mastering was done in the USA due to Mark wanted the best result and sound quality. The song is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the Tsunami Day website.

The main goal of recording 'I'm Coming Home For Christmas' is to bring as many people to the 'Tsunami Day' website as possible, and then hopefully in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to one or all of the Phuket charities and to also download the song.

The other main goal is to get enough downloads of the song to fund and set up a Live music cafe / bar with open stage and recording / teaching studio on Phuket, which will offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. To date 'La QingTing' is not open yet but the website is below (QingTing means: 'Dragon Fly' in Chinese if you're wondering)

Mark set-up the 'Tsunami Day' website to promote his song 'Tsunami Day' which was inspired from his own personal experiences while I was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with 'I'm Coming Home For Christmas' the song 'Tsunami Day' also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children's Orphanages. On the 'Tsunami Day' web there is numerous ways to help including a Phuket Hotels and cheap flights to Thailand and Asia booking system. Every penny helps.
