The Annual Fun Run Held by the Isabella Santos Foundation Raced to Success

Waxhaw, NC -- (SBWire) -- 10/05/2016 --The Annual Fun Run, which is a fundraiser held by the Isabella Santos Foundation, recently took place on September 24, 2016. It was their 9th Annual Fun Run event, and it proved to be a huge success. People from all over Charlotte, North Carolina, attended this event and provided their support for this foundation children with cancer. The generous support and donations from participants will go to fund Neuroblastoma research and organizations including The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, the Levine Children's Hospital, and The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, thousands of people showed up at Ballantyne Corporate Park at 8 a.m. for the 10K/5K Race for Kids Cancer and the 1-mile Fun Run. Everyone was looking forward to making a difference in a child's life and continuing to support Isabella Santos, a little girl who had a dream of a world with no more cancer. The Fun Run event in Charlotte, NC, had all kinds of fun for the whole family, including plenty of kids' activities and a DJ, a silent auction, and raffle. There was also tons of delicious food and snacks.

The Isabella Santos Foundation is dedicated to ending cancer, especially Neuroblastoma, once and for all, in honor Isabella Santos. She was a young girl who lost her battle with cancer in 2012 after almost five years of fighting. The Foundation continues to raise funds in her memory, hoping they can save another child from the disease.
