Avantika will mentor students on different levels about how to think in problems differently and build innovative solutions. Beginning 2017, MIT Pune's Avantika University will offer bachelor and master programs in Design, based on a project-based methodology. Followed by undergraduate programs in Engineering, Architecture. These programs are designed to produce better individuals and decision makers before shaping them into professionals, with student performance in 3-phases including pre-class, in- class and post-class activities.

The learning at Avantika is a fusion of design, technology, humanities and entrepreneurship disciplines. Based on a propitious interest from the leading global institutions, Avantika is in talks with some of them to explore possible collaboration and parternership opportunities. These institutions include Aalto University (Finland), Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore), Design Management Institute (Boston, USA), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD, Singapore), Royal College of Art (London, UK), MIT Foundation (Cambridge, USA), and many others.

Avantika is mentored by eminent educationist Dr Sanjay Dhande - Former Director IIT Kanpur and is supported by a team of passionate design & engineering professionals and academicians.
