Albany, NY -- (SBWire) -- 02/14/2017 --The global market for measles testing is expected to record significant growth rate in the near future. The growth would be observed due to advancement in immunodiagnostic technologies and automation. For instance, in 2007 in Japan large number of institutions and other industries were closed as an attempt to contain the disease. Measles vaccines are generally part of MMR vaccine (mumps, measles and rubella) vaccine. The vaccination is generally not prescribed before 18 months as sufficient amount of immunoglobulins are acquired by the new born through mother's placenta. A second dose of vaccine is usually administered during the age of four and five, to increase the rate of immunity. Hence, in developed countries to control the prevalence of measles vaccination rate are high. However, in developing countries two doses of measles vaccination are prescribed at the age of six months and two months. In addition to vaccination, serological diagnosis is also performed for the identification of measles infection. In these test diagnosis of IgG and IgM antibodies is performed for the diagnosis of infection. The global market for measles testing can be segmented on the basis of diagnostic tests, instruments, technologies and end users. End users section of the report can be analyzed on the basis of physician offices, public health laboratories and commercial and private laboratories.
