King of Prussia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 02/17/2017 --ImageFIRST, a national medical linen and laundry service, recently celebrated their fourth annual ImageFIRST Day. On January 27, 2017, ImageFIRST associates from the King of Prussia location went to an offsite location in Wayne, PA to participate in a team-building event that benefitted the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

ImageFIRST associates worked with Impact 4 Good, a company that runs socially responsible teambuilding activities, to oversee their community service activity. Teams competed in art-themed challenges and were given supplies for painting individual panels that resulted in a large, 30-panel mural to be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. At the time of the unveiling, the company also donated $250 to the organization.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia were founded in 1887 and created with the intention of helping young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Jason Newman, a Program Director at the Club, thanked ImageFIRST in a video for "serv[ing] as a reminder to these, and other amazing young people at our club, that a smile and a positive attitude can go a long way to making life better."

The purpose of the annual ImageFIRST Day is to celebrate the company's associates. In addition to participating in team-building activities, ImageFIRST locations in the US and Puerto Rico take this day to recognize high-performing associates and conduct community giving events. This year, associates were also shown a short video commemorating ImageFIRST's 50th anniversary.
